Environment Impact Assessment Studies

A study to predict the effect of a proposed activity on the environment It compares various alternatives for a project and seeks to identify the one which represents the best combination of economic and environmental costs and benefits Environment Impact Assessment Notification of 2006 has decentralized the environmental clearance projects by categorizing the developmental projects in two categories, i.e., Category A (national level appraisal) and Category B (state level appraisal).

Environment Impact Evaluation A baseline study is the study of the original status of the environment in the area before the development work of the project is started. This study serves the purpose of a base reference against which the changes due to implementation of the project are measured.

Certified Compliance Report from Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India

It is mandatory to obtain Every Project whether it is Industry or any building which comes under the purview of Environmental clearance needs Certified Compliance report from Regional Office Nagpur MoEF & CC for further expansion in industry in terms of production increase or changes or modification in existing EC for building construction before expansion EC.

Environmental Monitoring / Environmental Safety Audits

AIR, WATER, Noise, soil, DG set stacks, STP inlet-outlet water etc. monitoring done for the post ec compliance reports and safety audits.

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board- Consent Management Consent to Establish (CTE), Operate (CTO) and Renewal.

Under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention &Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, “any industry, operation or process or an extension and addition thereto,which is likely to discharge sewerage or trade effluent into the environment or likely to emit any air pollution into the atmosphere will have to obtain the Consent”
There are two types of the Consent i.e. Consent to Establish (CTE), and Consent to Operate (CTO).
1. Consent to Establish: This consent is required to be obtained before establishing any Industry, Plant, or Process. The Consent to Establish is the primary clearance.
2. Consent to Operate: Once the Industry, Plant, or Process being established according to mandatory pollution control systems, the units are required to obtain consent to operate.

Post Environmental Clearance Compliance Report

It is mandatory to submit a Six-Monthly Compliance Report to show the status & compliance of all the Conditions mentioned in Environment clearance Letter, along with monitoring of various Environmental Parameters (as per CPCB Norms). 2 times in year on June and December.

Environment Management Plan (EMP)

The Environment Management Plan (EMP) is required to ensure sustainable development in the area surrounding the proposed project. Hence, it needs to be an all encompasses plan for which the industry, Government, regulating agencies; like Pollution Control Board working in the region and the local residents of the area need to extend their co-operation and contribution. It has been evaluated that the proposed project will have minor impacts on the surrounding areas. Mitigation measures at the source level and an overall Management Plan at the site level are elicited so as to preserve the surrounding environment.

Coastal Regulatory Zone (CRZ) NOC

Coastal Regulation Zone Clearance to the projects are being regulated under the specified provisions of CRZ Notification, 2011 which inter alia stipulate the appraisal process and the approval of the projects with laid down safeguards for environmental management.

Energy Efficiency Building Code (ECBC) Compliance

ECBC report is the one of the most important and mandatory report required in environmental clearance Building construction projects. ECO Niwas Samhita 2018, is an Energy Conservation Building Code for Residential Buildings (ECBC-R), launched by Ministry of Power in 13 December 2018. The aim of the code is to benefit the occupants and the environment by promoting energy efficiency in design and construction of homes, apartments and townships.
